All our production is based on highly humified organic matter.
We check directly all organic raw materials that we withdraw, from certified farms only after a long period of maturation. Mineral components are purchased instead from the main stakeholders in the Italian distribution chain.
The overall productive potential, thanks to 11 fully automated packaging lines, exceeds 60 t/hour and we manufacture into 25 kg bags or in big bags of 500 kg, the latter being provided with a practical discharge valve.

The organic matrix of AGRIBIOS ITALIANA’s products are initially obtained from a mixture of manures from different origins and after a long period of fermentation, natural drying and humification, being characterized by a high quality level. The absence of drying ovens guarantees the natural ageing of the organic matter and the perfect dissolution of pellets once deployed on the ground.

Humic substances are amorphous compounds of dark colour, partially aromatic, mostly chemically complex hydrophiles, polyelectrolytes, with a widely instable molecular weight.
Humic substances constitute about 65% of the organic matter in the soil and are the product of resynthesis processes (humification) of the products of chemical and biological transformation and decomposition of biomolecules resulting from leaves and releases of vegetable organisms and animals (Stevenson, 1994).
Beyond the academic definitions, since we are passionately working in agriculture every day, we consider the humic acids as an extraordinary resource to be created, managed and put at disposal of farms that increasingly need to combat the phenomenon of reduction of the organic matter in soils and of impoverished land, with consequent unavoidable production reduction.

Effects of humic acids are numerous and occur on:

  • Physico-mechanical properties of soils (act in fact favouring water retention, improving softness and permeability)
  • Chemical properties (the colloidal nature of humus determines an increase of the cation exchange capacity and protects, for incorporation, the main nutritional elements such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, sulphur, magnesium and iron)
  • Buffer Properties (reduce the effects of salinity and neutralize the pH)
  • Phyto-stimulating properties (activate vital functions, resistance to stress, stimulate flowering, promote fruit set and fruit quality).

Humic acids, naturally occurring in the organic matter of AGRIBIOS ITALIANA, help us to maintain the fertile soil and to improve agricultural productions, thus benefiting the farm income.



Studies published in the early 90’s, showed that organic and organo-mineral fertilizers are not all the same and, if based on organic matter with a high humification level, they are distinguished by their high nutritional efficiency as compared to other types of fertilizers.

The use of the AGRIBIOS ITALIANA products allows to improve the soil structure and its physical characteristics in addition to stimulating microbial activity.
The high content of organic matter present in organo-mineral and organic fertilizers, well beyond the minimum limit of law (7.5% of organic carbon), ensures maximum protection of nutrients, preserving them from losses due to leaching, evaporation, retrogradation and fixation.
